Bali Beach Glamping Review, Tabanan, Bali: Bali’s Most Famous Glamping Site

While most glamping sites in Bali try to take people inland to experience the jungle, there’s one that is absolutely all about the beaches that many folks come to Bali especially for.

And that’s Bali Beach Glamping in Tabanan, it’s the most popular glamping location on the island and regularly hosts large wedding parties seeking something a little different.

So, our team was interested in finding out if it was as good as its reputation makes it out to be, and this is what they learned at Bali Beach Glamping.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

One thing that you cannot expect from any glamping location is for it to be as spotless as a 5-star resort. It’s not possible when the place is, to some extent, open to the elements.

The cleaning and maintenance team here do a very good job based on that, but you are still going to find some mess that turns up out of the blue after they leave.

Rating:

Sleep Quality

This is very much going to depend on what’s going on at the resort when you are there. Mostly, it’s very peaceful, and the beds are very comfortable.

But… if there’s a wedding on or some sort of party that is noisy, then you will be enduring that noise in your room. That’s the nature of tents; they aren’t soundproof.

Rating:

Staff Attitude And Service Culture

We felt that the staff here were very good for this style of venue, and they made us feel welcome and wanted.

We had some minor issues during our stay at Bali Beach Glamping, and they were resolved very quickly.

Rating:

Check-in/Check-out Experience

You can check in online at Bali Beach Glamping, which is quite impressive for a glamping site, though it can still lead to some confusion about how to get into your accommodation.

The checkout process is quite painless, and you won’t have any issues getting underway when you need to leave.

Rating:

Bathroom Quality & Functionality

The bathrooms are pretty good for a campsite, but there’s just one minor issue: the hot water supply appears to be shared by everyone.

And that means if you want a shower at a busy time of day, then so will everyone else and the amount of available hot water will drop dramatically. So make it quick.

Rating:

Value For Money

We thought that Bali Beach Glamping was excellent value for money, even though it has some drawbacks; there’s no doubt that for a unique experience by the sea, they could charge more than they do.

There seems to be a genuine emphasis on bringing people together rather than making as much money as possible from the rooms.

Rating:

Food And Beverage Execution

Having said that, while there is food onsite and it’s pretty decent for what it is, there’s no doubt that it’s quite pricey for what it is.

When a basic black coffee costs as much out in the middle of nowhere as it does in Starbucks in Canggu, it’s a bit much.

Rating:

Location & Immediate Surroundings

This location is supremely attractive, brilliantly located and safe as houses. You will love being able to go for beach walks in the early morning.

However, there’s also not that much beyond the glamping site and a few other small businesses, so you will need transportation if you want to go further afield.

Rating:

Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise

The facilities and amenities are very good for a resort that is this cheap for a night, and we felt that they were in very good condition, too.

You’re not going to get bored quickly at Bali Beach Glamping, if at all.

Rating:

Overall “Personality”

The glamping tents are a little more basic than they are at some of the other campsites (though the price does reflect this), but we still feel that this place has plenty of personality.

You will be talking about this place positively with friends and family long after more regular resort accommodations have been forgotten.

Summary: Our Overview Of Bali Beach Glamping

Bali Beach Glamping is great. It’s got a vibe all of its own and if you want a buzzing little campsite with more than the usual creature comforts right on the beach, you can’t go wrong.

We think that almost everyone would enjoy a few nights at this pleasant spot in Tabanan and it shouldn’t break the bank, either.
