Aksari Villa Seminyak by iNi Vie Hospitality Review, Seminyak, Bali: Reasonably Priced Beach Town Villa

Seminyak is one of the most desirable destinations in Bali, and the town is well known for its exciting fine dining and high-end nightlife scenes.

However, affordable villas are a bit thin on the ground in this “see and be seen” environment, and it’s not always easy to find a good place to stay within a reasonable budget.

That’s where Aksari Villa Seminyak by iNi Vie Hospitality comes in, and our team was excited to find out if you could really find a great villa for a sensible price in this part of Bali. This is what they discovered in Seminyak.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

There’s not a lot property at this address, so it’s keep very clean and while we did move things around to check for hidden dust, we didn’t find anything.

Overall, we felt that this villa could compete with the best properties in Bali in this category. Unfortunately, we couldn’t say the same for the maintenance team, we caught several serious issues regarding the property and while they were resolved swiftly when highlighted to staff, it shouldn’t have been this way at all.

Rating:

Sleep Quality

The rooms are quiet and there are no light leaks. We also felt that the airflow in each room was very good.

The beds are a decent size and they are very comfortable. Overall, we’d be surprised if you had a poor night’s sleep here.

Rating:

Staff Attitude And Service Culture

We thought that the staff at Aksari Villa were exceptional and very much focused on ensuring that you have a good time.

However, there’s no doubt that because of the maintenance issues, you will need to call on them more often than you might want to.

Rating:

Check-in/Check-out Experience

The check-in process is painless enough and as this isn’t a large resort, you won’t be waiting for very long before you’re snug as a bug in a rug in your rooms.

Rating:

Bathroom Quality & Functionality

The bathrooms are nice enough, but the equipment is dodgy and there’s no doubt that things like the jacuzzis need more maintenance than they currently get.

The towels are toiletries are OK, though.

Rating:

Value For Money

It’s a relatively cheap villa in Seminyak and that means you should expect some issues and if you do, then this represents OK value for money.

If they spent more effort maintaining the place, it could even be great value.

Rating:

Food And Beverage Execution

The food is OK. It’s fresh, tasty and near instantly forgettable. You won’t be sorry that you ate in the hotel, you just won’t remember it a minute after you have checked out.

No, you wouldn’t come here just for the food.

Rating:

Location & Immediate Surroundings

Seminyak is a brilliant place to stay. It’s safe, surrounded with things to do and see. It has a nice beach, great nightlife and excellent restaurants and bars.

It’s also the perfect base for exploring Bali.

Rating:

Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise

The facilities are all as advertised, but like everything else in this hotel, the maintenance team could put in a bit more effort to ensure that they really shine.

Rating:

Overall “Personality”

The villa complex is OK to look at and it will serve as a decent backdrop for some holiday photos and your social media, but we doubt you’ll look back and remember much about it a few yearrs down the line, either.

FAQs

Is Aksari Villa Family Friendly?

Sort of, Aksari Villa is family-friendly in that children are welcome to stay, and their policy allows children under the age of 10 to stay with their parents or guardians free of charge.

However, there are no special facilities for children at this resort, and that means you’ll need to keep your kids entertained throughout their stay.

There are also no babysitting or child minding services, so you would need to arrange these with a third party if you need them during your trip.

Final Thoughts On Aksari Villa

Aksari Villa isn’t the closest villa to the beach in Seminyak; in fact, it’s a bit of a hike from the beach (we’d recommend taking a Grab or Gojek, especially if you have kids with you), but otherwise, it’s a great deal.

You’ll find that you’re near Southeast Asia’s largest specialty Starbucks and within walking distance of plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, and nightlife spots.

And there’s no doubt that the villa is very much reasonably priced, so you’ll have money left in your holiday budget to enjoy yourself. We’d be happy to recommend Aksari Villa to anyone who doesn’t need too much in the way of facilities and amenities in their resort.
