Cleanliness and Maintenance
We found that this resort was clean throughout, and while we did discover a few dusty spots while moving stuff around to see if we could find anything, there was nothing to worry about from a cleanliness standpoint, either.
The maintenance is good enough for everything to be in working order most of the time, too and any issues are quickly resolved.
Sleep Quality
We felt that the beds were excellent and extremely comfortable. The mattresses were great and the pillows too, the bedding was smooth and luxurious.
However, there is a little noise leak from the nearby road, though it’s not severe enough to disturb most people’s sleep; really light sleepers might prefer to stay elsewhere.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
We felt that the staff here were amazing throughout the resort, and no matter where we went, they were friendly and professional.
Most importantly, they were also effective at getting things done without having to seek approval from a manager.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
Check-in and check-out were pretty much as expected, not too painful and certainly, while we were at The Bandha, there were no queues to talk of.
That meant getting into our rooms was easy enough and didn’t take very long. The resort is also happy to store luggage for you as needed.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
The shower facilities were of a decent quality, and the water pressure was pretty good for Bali. The towels were adequate to the task of drying us off, and the toiletries supplied were OK.
Value For Money
We felt that The Bandha Hotel & Suites was good, but not exceptional value for money. It doesn’t feel quite like a “5-star” hotel in many respects, but then, neither is the cost of a room as high as most 5-star resorts in Bali.
Food And Beverage Execution
The food and drinks at this hotel were good enough without ever really wowing us. They’re fine as holiday hotel food, but you wouldn’t come back here just for the dining facilities.
Location & Immediate Surroundings
Legian is a good base to explore Bali from, but you’ll need transportation. What’s within walking distance is a few hotels, bars and restaurants, and of course, Legian Beach. The area is safe, though stray dogs must be avoided here as they have been known to carry rabies.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
There aren’t many facilities at this resort, but what is available is as advertised, and while it’s not going to blow you away with amazing implementation, everything works as it should.
Overall “Personality”
We felt that the resort was quite pretty at first glance, and you can get some nice shots for your social media.
However, we also felt that the rooms looked dated, like 1980s/1990s corporate resort rooms and that overall, the resort was OK in this department rather than stand out.
Summary: Our Overview Of The Bandha Hotel & Suites
The Bandha Hotel & Suites is OK, and there’s no doubt that it comes at a fairly reasonable price tag.
However, overall, while it’s a decent spot to use as a base for exploring Bali, there’s nothing particularly memorable about this hotel, either.
Would we recommend it? Sure. But we would point out that there are a lot of other options in Bali, too.

The Bandha Hotel & Suites is a nice spot for a family holiday in Legian, Bali. It’s close enough to most attractions if you take a ride-share, and the area is safe with a decent beach.
However, if you want a really memorable hotel, this isn’t really it; it looks good from the outside, but the rooms are dated and dull-looking. They’re comfortable enough, but that’s about it.
Overall, it’s good value for money, though, and if you’re dead set on Legian with a tight budget to manage, this could be exactly what you’re looking for.
