Cleanliness and Maintenance
While overall the cleanliness and maintenance were good, we found the occasional patch of mould or water stain that ought to have been taken care of.
It was nothing hazardous to human health, in our opinion, but we’d just prefer that it wasn’t there.
Sleep Quality
This is Canggu, and that means there’s a lot of noise going on in most of the area into late into the night, which means you need somewhere quiet to sleep, and The Prime does a pretty good job of keeping noise at bay.
Otherwise, the beds are adequate with well-ventilated rooms and decent light-blocking curtains. You will have a decent night’s sleep here.

The bathrooms are nice enough, but we found that the towels weren’t changed very regularly and that sometimes there was no hot water or we ran out of hot water quickly.
Sure, this is Bali, a cool shower is fine a lot of the time, but we like hot water and enough for the whole family.

We felt that The Prime Canggu Bali offered good value for money. It’s not exceptional but we can’t see anyone being upset with their stay here, particularly given the reasonable room rates.

We live in Canggu, so we tend to hear about hotel cafes and restaurants that are truly exceptional, and we hadn’t heard about this place; thus, we weren’t entirely surprised to find that things are good but not great.
That’s not really a big deal; this area has so many excellent places to eat, from local warungs to fine dining restaurants, that you won’t go hungry.

We felt that the facilities were as advertised but that there really aren’t very many things to do at this hotel. That’s OK, we see The Prime Canggu more as a base to explore this area rather than a place to spend your entire holiday.

This is a very nice 4-star property and the villas are really attractive but overall, we don’t feel there’s enough about The Prime Canggu to make it one of the most memorable parts of your time in Bali.
