Seminyak is one of Bali’s busiest and most popular tourist destinations. It can be hard to find a reasonably priced but still relatively luxurious accommodation in this area.
However, the Kayumas Seminyak Resort appears to offer both those things, though it hasn’t got 5-stars from the rating agency, it seems to have plenty to offer visitors on a tighter budget.
So, our review team set out to learn whether this resort is a sensible use of your holiday stash, and this is what they discovered at Bali’s Kayumas Seminyak Resort.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

We found the level of cleanliness and maintenance throughout this resort to be very good, and we had no major complaints while we were there.
Overall, given the low nightly rate, this resort makes an excellent impression in this category.
Sleep Quality

We were actually surprised to find how comfortable the beds were, and we really enjoyed an excellent night’s sleep.
We also didn’t find any significant noise or light leaks, and the airflow was good throughout.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture

No hotel in Bali needs to offer anything but a world-class service culture, and we actually felt like one of the family by the time we left Kayuma Seminyak Resort.
The staff are dedicated to ensuring you have a fabulous stay, and they are really kind and helpful.
Check-in/Check-out Experience

While the resort isn’t huge, it’s big enough that it can be a bit of a slog from the front desk to the room. Fortunately, they will send someone to help carry your luggage after you check in.
The check-in process is simple enough, though, and you won’t be kept waiting long for a comfy bed.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality

The bathrooms are a decent size, and the supplied toiletries are OK. They weren’t our favourite towels, ever, but they did get us dry enough.
Value For Money

You really can’t beat the value for money at this resort and we’d recommend staying at Kayumas Seminyak Resort in a heartbeat if you’re on a tight budget.
It’s hard to find cheaper places in Seminyak, and they’re often not all that, but Kayumas is fabulous for the cash.
Food And Beverage Execution

We enjoyed eating and drinking in this hotel, and everything was fresh, well-presented and tasty enough, but it’s not the kind of food that you’d come to this hotel especially for, either.
Bali’s dining scene simply has too much world-class competition for that.
Location & Immediate Surroundings

Seminyak is one of Bali’s best-loved and most popular beach towns. It’s safe, attractive and has a very good beach.
There are nightlife, shopping and dining options galore in the neighborhood and it serves as a good base to get out and see the rest of the island.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise

The onsite facilities are good, though not great, but we think for the price of a room here, they still represent value for money. We appreciated the small on-site gym for a morning work out.
Overall “Personality”

This is a nice hotel but not the sort of place that carves itself indelibly into your memory. It feels like a small Balinese family business and we found it made for a pleasant home for a few days.
But it doesn’t have a big, bold personality that will make you remember it often in the years to come.
