The court’s not onsite; it’s a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, but it’s a nice touch and one that might bring a smile to certain guests’ faces.

Cleanliness and Maintenance
We thought that ASAI was acceptably clean and maintained throughout the facility. If you’re really picky, like our review team, you may discover some dust under things that haven’t been moved in a while, but there’s nothing to concern you about the standards of hygiene.
Sleep Quality
We found that the beds were very comfortable and the mattresses were of good quality, along with the pillows.
We also had no light or noise leaking into the room while we slept, and we got a surprisingly good night’s sleep here.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
We always feel that in Bali, you can rely on the staff to be excellent as a rule of thumb, and ASAI Villas’ team is no exception to the rule.
They’re cheerful, polite, professional, and most of all effective at getting things done. We enjoyed their service immensely.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
Check-in and check-out here were very functional, and we didn’t hang around long waiting to get into our rooms or to leave the premises when we were done.
They are happy to store luggage at the front desk for you if you need to leave stuff behind before your flight, etc.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
We felt that the bathrooms were clean and pleasant, and while not the biggest we’ve seen in Bali, they were spacious enough.
The toiletries were OK too, and the towels also passed muster. We enjoyed our daily cleaning rituals at this property.
Value For Money
We felt that this property provided decent but not exceptional value for money. Everything was “good enough” but rarely pushed beyond that to offer a next-level experience.
It would be nice if they focused on one area of this resort and made it world-class.
Food And Beverage Execution
The food and drinks were decent, and we certainly weren’t disappointed with anything we consumed during our stay.
However, would we return to this place just to use the cafe? No, probably not. Bali is packed with awesome restaurants, cafes, bars, etc., and ASAI Cafe didn’t do enough to distinguish itself from the background noise.
Location & Immediate Surroundings
This part of Jimabaran is nice enough, and there are certainly other places to see on the doorstep, but there’s not a lot of interest here either.
And that means you’re going to need transportation to explore the rest of Bali, particularly given ASAI villas’ relatively limited facilities.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
All the facilities at ASAI villas are as advertised, and they deliver a decent experience, but there really wasn’t anything that really took our breath away. It’s good enough, but not great.
Overall “Personality”
This is an attractive modern resort that looks good in photographs, but we don’t think it has the kind of personality that you remember in a few years; you just vaguely remember having a nice time in Bali.
Summary: Our Overview Of ASAI Villas
ASAI Villas is not bad, and we can certainly understand why some folks would be tempted to buy a villa here as an investment or long-term stay.
However, it’s a bit short on facilities, and that means you want to be certain that you’re going to be out exploring the island rather than looking to spend most of your time in the resort itself.

Is ASAI Villas Family Friendly?
Yes, ASAI villas are family-friendly. It has decent-sized villas for families, a kids’ pool, a restaurant with kids’ options, and you’re not far from Jimbaran Beach.
However, we should note that there are other hotels in Jimbaran with rather more facilities for kids, and if you intend to spend a lot of time in the resort, you might want to choose somewhere with more facilities.
Final Thoughts On ASAI Villas
ASAI Villas is a strikingly attractive complex with some really modern, airy villas that are ideal for a relaxing break in Jimbaran.
It’s a bit short of amenities, so if you enjoy spending most of your time in the resort, this might not be the ideal place for you to stay, but otherwise, we’d be happy to recommend it to anyone.
And the padel court, while not quite our reviewer’s cup of tea, is a very nice additional feature that you can’t get at most hotels on the island.
