The resort staff work very hard to ensure that everything is spotless and well-maintained, and mostly, they succeed very well, indeed.
However, this is a resort that is on the rice fields, and that means sometimes, nature escapes the fields and ends up in your rooms. Lizards, insects, etc., are just part and parcel of a more natural experience.
Sleep Quality
We thought that the beds here were big and comfortable and that the bedding, mattresses and pillows were extremely comfortable.
There’s very little noise in the local area, and as far as we could tell, noise doesn’t really come into the rooms at all.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
The staff here are fantastic, and they are very much focused on ensuring that every guest has an amazing experience.
They embody that warm, kind Balinese hospitality and do it with a sense of real professionalism and pride.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
Check-in and check-out are both just fine; they’re not memorable experiences, but they do the job of getting you into and out of the rooms with the minimum of fuss.
We like that you can store luggage here after you vacate your rooms, so you can continue to enjoy Ubud before you have to move on.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
The bathrooms are very nicely appointed with good fixtures and fittings, nice toiletries and luxurious towels.
The only minor issue is all the lizards that seem to end up in this room at times. Sure, they’re harmless enough, but some folks won’t enjoy their company.

We felt that this place was very good value for money; there is a huge amount of competition in this price bracket in Ubud, and that means gaining an excellent rating in this category is very hard work.

The food and drinks here are OK. We felt that they were tasty and filling, but very much on the expensive side for Ubud.
Would we come here just to eat? No. But we didn’t feel that we’d been ripped off on the occasions that we opted to dine in the resort, either.

This location in the rice fields is incredibly beautiful, and we think you’ll love waking up to the view here. Ubud itself is very safe, and there’s a lot to do and see in the area.
However, this town is very popular, and that means you may face crowds at the best sights and traffic in and out of the area is often very, very bad.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
We felt that the facilities were exactly as advertised and that they were kept in good condition (or even excellent condition in most cases).
However, we’d like a little bit more to do when we’re booking a resort in this price bracket, all the same.
Overall “Personality”
We think you’ll be raving about the setting of this hotel for years to come, but that the building itself is a little ordinary.
Overall, it’s a great place that you will be proud to show off on Instagram and Facebook, etc.
