Cleanliness and Maintenance

We felt that Hotel Indigo was very clean, but that there were small details that were occasionally missed.

The same was true of the maintenance, which seemed pretty good for the most part, but then you’d run into a small part of the hotel that hadn’t received the same level of care.

Rating:

Sleep Quality

We certainly had no complaints about the quality of our sleep at this hotel; we found the rooms to have good ventilation, to be lightproof and noise resistant.

We also felt that the beds were conducive to sleep and were large, comfortable and had quality linens, pillows, etc.

Rating:

Staff Attitude And Service Culture

Similarly, we felt that the staff were truly excellent. We were offered a free floral arrangement on our first day when we noted it was our anniversary, and there were lots of nice touches from the team throughout our stay.

They really do care about you having a wonderful experience, and it shows.

Rating:

Check-in/Check-out Experience

The check-in and check-out processes were perfectly decent, and we weren’t kept waiting for very long at all before we were in our rooms.

Rating:

Bathroom Quality & Functionality

The bathrooms are superb, large, with great toiletries, soft towels and first-rate water pressure. We’d come back for the bathrooms, to be honest.

Rating:

Value For Money

We felt that Hotel Indigo was acceptable value for money, though there is a lot of competition in this price bracket and you can afford to be very picky over the features you want from a resort.

Rating:

Food And Beverage Execution

Sugarsand is generally recognised as one of Bali’s better restaurants, and we think you’d be happy to come and try it without staying in the hotel.

We found all the meals here to be tasty, well-presented and enjoyable. The drinks are good too, and they look great in your Instagram feed.

Rating:

Location & Immediate Surroundings

You can’t really go wrong when you stay in Seminyak, it’s a safe area with so much to do right on the doorstep of the hotel, including some of Bali’s best bars and restaurants.

You can also use it to explore the rest of the island, as it’s only a short-ish drive (depending on Bali’s traffic situation) to most other popular destinations.

Rating:

Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise

The facilities and amenities were as advertised, and mostly, they’re good too. However, we couldn’t help wishing there were a few more touches, particularly a kids’ club, given how many families seem to use this hotel.

Rating:

Overall “Personality”

We felt that this was a very nice resort, but there wasn’t anything that really stood out to us to remember it by for future years, either.

Final Thoughts On Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach by IHG

Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach by IHG is an excellent hotel, and if you’re of the inclination to spend most of your holiday in the resort, this is a great choice of resort for you.

There’s a ton of stuff to do here, and the on-site dining is excellent. However, there’s no doubt that it does get a bit overcrowded with children at times.
