Cleanliness and Maintenance
This resort is clean and reasonably well-maintained throughout, and we couldn’t really find any major faults at all.
However, there was a minor issue with the door handle in our room, and it took a bit of effort to get what should have been a simple fix resolved.
Sleep Quality
We think it would be hard to find a better night’s sleep than you get here. Kelapa is quite isolated, even for Lovina, which means there’s simply no background noise to keep you awake.
The rooms are airy, lightproofed, and the beds are extremely comfortable. You just can’t go wrong and won’t have to count many sheep to doze off here.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
The staff here are lovely, as we’d expect with a more remote Balinese location; however, there’s no doubt that sometimes communication can be a barrier.
We also weren’t convinced that they had the freedom to resolve issues rather than escalate them.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
Check-in is very easy at these villas; there aren’t very many of them, so you will be whisked away to your room pretty much as soon as you arrive.
Check-out is also easy, but this is Lovina, so make sure you have onward transport booked, as it can be tricky to obtain on the day.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
The bathrooms were more than adequate to the task, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
However, the towels were a little bit past their best, and the toiletries were only so-so. Overall, we’d be happy to use these facilities again, but we weren’t raving about them, either.
Value For Money
We felt that you’d be hard-pressed to find lovely villas on the seashore for as little money as this anywhere on Earth, and even for Bali, they feel like a steal.
However, the resort doesn’t do quite enough to make itself stand out and hit that excellent mark.
Food And Beverage Execution
The food here is very good for a small resort restaurant, and if the menu were only a bit bigger, we’d be tempted to give it another point.
No, it’s not fine dining, but this is Lovina; there is no fine dining, really. So, this is as good as it gets. And it is more than good enough for us.
Location & Immediate Surroundings
Lovina is a very pleasant place, and this resort is in an isolated corner of the area. It’s fine for beach access, but if you want anything more, you will need transportation.
And while traffic is light in this area, the main road back to Denpasar and the airport can entail seriously bad jams. Set off early if you are flying that day.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
This hotel has a lot of facilities for the kind of resort that it is, and mostly they are in very good condition. We’d be happy to spend more time here because it’s hard to get bored.

This is a very attractive complex for a very reasonable price with good views, amenities and an on-site restaurant.
We think most people will be very happy that they stayed here and want to tell the world about it.
