Cleanliness and Maintenance
This is a big villa, and we’d forgive the cleaning staff if they’d missed something or the maintenance team had let something slide, but we couldn’t find anything that they had neglected.
We were really impressed with this as it’s genuinely hard to stay on top of keeping big spaces this neat and tidy.
Sleep Quality
You’re in a nice location away from any real noise, and we didn’t hear any outside noise during our sleep times. The rooms are also decently dark, even when the sun is fully up.
We found the beds to be comfortable, the linens to be really nice, and there’s good airflow in the room. You’ll have a wonderful night’s sleep.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
The staff are absolutely excellent, though we’d have loved to have a butler in a property this size, overall we felt very well looked after.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
You can’t really go wrong when checking in people for a single property, and there’s no delay at all in getting in and enjoying your accommodation.
They can store luggage for you after check out, too, which is kind of handy if you want to spend more time in Uluwatu before moving on.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
The bathrooms are nice enough, though the toiletries were only so-so, and the towels were a little limited. We still got dry, mind you, and nobody complained about the process of getting clean here.
Value For Money
A few more generous touches like better toiletries and a dedicated butler, and this would be amazing value for money, but even without them, it’s good value for money.
While the per-night price might seem steep, if you look at it on a per-room basis, it’s the same as spending a night in an average 4-star hotel here in Bali.
Food And Beverage Execution
We confess we don’t understand why people want a floating breakfast; it might look good on Instagram, but pool water on your croissant is a good recipe for an upset stomach.
Putting that to one side, the in-villa dining is decent, but we doubt you’d rent the rooms here just for the chance to eat here again.
Location & Immediate Surroundings
Uluwatu is one of Bali’s most popular seaside resorts, but there’s no doubt that while safe, it’s extremely spread out.
That means if you want to enjoy the area, rather than spending all your time at the villa, you will need transportation.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
We felt that the amenities here were very much as promised, and all of them were in a decent condition, but there was nothing that really stood out and made our jaws drop, either.
That’s fair enough, really, you’re buying the space here more than any amenities.
Overall “Personality”
The resort is gorgeous, and we can’t imagine experiencing this private villa complex and not finding it charming and enjoyable.
Assuming you have good company to share it with, we think you will remember this place fondly in the years to follow.

We’d also note that it’s a bit short on amenities with no on-site gym or yoga shala, etc., but overall, we’d be happy to recommend this property to anyone with a large group of friends to entertain.
