In our opinion, Jimbaran Puri is one of the very best places to stay in this part of Bali.
Cleanliness and Maintenance
We felt that the cleaning team did excellent work here, and we couldn’t trip them up even when we moved things around looking for hidden dust.
However, the maintenance team are dealing with a bit of an aging property, and while they do good work, the signs of age are noticeable throughout the rooms and resort as a whole.
Sleep Quality
The rooms are large and airy with very comfortable beds with excellent mattresses and bedding, we also didn’t notice any noise or light leaking into the rooms.
Overall, we had a first-rate night’s sleep at Jimbaran Puri, and we think that everyone would do the same.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
We found the service here to be world-class, with the staff empowered to go the extra mile and ensure that guest satisfaction was top priority.
We liked the combination of 5-star professionalism and genuine Balinese hospitality, which enhances every stay.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
There was a long delay at check-in, and after we’d got our keys, we were made to walk a fair distance to our place rather than being offered a lift in the clearly available buggy.
Check out was better, though, and we found it easy enough to store our luggage for a bit before we came back to collect it.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
While the bathrooms are large and spacious, and the toiletries and towels are good, there’s an issue with mosquitoes at this hotel.
It’s probably the large spaces under the doors, but we found that mosquitoes enjoyed congregating in our bathroom, and we did not enjoy their company.

We think Jimbaran Puri is good value for money, but we think that if you shop around in this price bracket, you can get better value for money.
It’s just a little on the old side to be charging these rates. You won’t have a bad experience here, but it’s not going to be the best you can do.

If you’re just eating breakfast, then you won’t be disappointed, it’s a very good breakfast with very tasty food drawing on the local food culture and international fare.
However, the evening meal was nowhere near as good and, in fact, the portion control was some of the meanest we’ve seen anywhere.
Location & Immediate Surroundings
Jimbaran is nice, though the proximity to the airport means that in some parts of the town, plane noise is inevitable.
It has less to do than nearby towns like Canggu, Seminyak and Uluwatu, though, and you will probably need transportation if you want to get the most out of staying here.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
We felt that Jimnaran Puri had a good range of amenities that were as promised in the advertising, but that they could be better maintained.
It’s one of the challenges of running an aging hotel, we guess.

The Jimbaran Puri is a nice hotel that provides a relaxing backdrop for a Bali holiday, but it’s not the star of the show.
You will remember your time in Bali fondly, but it will be the people you’re with and the things you do rather than the hotel itself.
