Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad thing; after all, not everyone wants to be in sight (and smell) of the shoreline.
However, we were curious if TS Suites could do enough to remain competitive with the shorefront hotels in this very popular part of Bali. So, our team went to find out, and this is what they found.

Cleanliness and Maintenance
We found this hotel to be clean and well-maintained throughout. We had heard some rumours that there were issues in this department, but our staff didn’t encounter any.
Everything was sparkling clean and looked as new as it’s possible to expect in a hotel. This is the standard we expect in resorts of this nature.
Sleep Quality
The bedding itself is wonderful, and the beds are large with good ventilation throughout the room; however, there’s just one problem.
The mattresses themselves are extremely firm, and even with a mattress topper (available from the hotel), it’s a bit on the hard side. This is, of course, a matter of personal preference, but it might be a deal breaker for some.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
The staff here have that wonderful warmth of Balinese hospitality combined with a can-do attitude and a ready smile on almost every occasion.
Overall, we felt that the service culture here is an integral part of the experience, and it helps to ensure every guest feels truly special.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
Check-in and check-out are just fine; this isn’t the biggest resort in Bali, so you won’t be kept waiting around to get into your rooms.
They are also quite happy to store your luggage after check-out if you want to spend more time in Seminyak after you leave your room.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
The bathrooms are excellent. They are big and spacious with plenty of hot water and the kind of water pressure we want while we’re on holiday.
The supplied toiletries are nice, and the towels are very soft and kind to your skin. Overall, we’d like our home bathrooms to match up to these.
Value For Money
We felt that the TS Suites were very good value for money, but not exceptional; they are operating at a price point that offers a lot of competition here in Bali.
And they’re also not on the sea front, which we feel is a substantial downside for many people who want to stay in this area.
Food And Beverage Execution
The food at TS Suites was merely OK and one of the few almost disappointing aspects of our stay here.
Seminyak is home to some of Bali’s best restaurants and cafes, and we’d like to see the on-site properties compete with them. As is, it’s nutritious enough, but you wouldn’t visit just for the food.
Location & Immediate Surroundings
This is Seminyak, and it’s one of Bali’s most popular beach towns because it has so much to offer. The best shopping on the island, excellent cafes and restaurants, and a good nightlife scene too.
You’re also near to Canggu, Kuta, Ubud, etc., if you want to explore the rest of the island, which is really handy.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
We felt that the facilities promised were in good shape and all present; however, we do feel that to make up for the location, there ought to be more of them.
Overall “Personality”
We feel that the TS Suites have a genuine charm of their own and that being away from the beach has made the designers think about creating a unique space.
We are sure that you’ll remember your time here fondly in the years to come, though it may not make your “best ever” hotel slot.

If you don’t mind the lack of proximity to the beach, TS Suites creates an excellent environment for a break in Bali and it’s reasonably priced for Seminyak, too.
Overall, we’d be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay here.
