It’s easy enough to find a villa in Bali for almost any group size, but in the post-pandemic world, it’s become harder and harder to find luxury at a reasonable price.
Arkana Village Canggu is a pleasant break from that norm. It’s a 3-bedroom property catering to groups of up to 6 people, for a very sensible price tag.
So, our team went out to see if it was worth the investment and whether they would have a good time in Arkana Village Canggu, and this is what they learned.

Arkana Village made it onto our list of the best properties in Canggu.
Cleanliness and Maintenance

With only one property to manage on this site, it’s not surprising that it’s in near-perfect working order and very clean.
You’re not going to find yourself facing many issues if you stay at this property, and that’s how it should be, too.
Sleep Quality

We got a good night’s sleep at this villa, and we felt that the rooms all had good airflow and that the beds were big and comfortable.
We were also surprised by how quiet this villa is at night. Canggu is a very busy area, and noise leakage is really common, but not at Arkana Village Canggu.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture

When you’re the only people staying in the only property on offer, you can be 100% certain of amazing service, and that’s exactly what we found at Arkana Village.
We really felt like we’d gained some extra family members by the time we checked out.
Check-in/Check-out Experience

It’s one villa, the check-in process is lightning fast, and the check-out process is similarly problem-free. Really, it’s unlikely that you’re ever going to have any issues here with respect to this.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality

The bathrooms were nice enough, a decent size, and the water pressure was OK, which is not always the case in this part of Bali.
The toiletries and towels were just OK, though.
Value For Money

While we would like more to do in the places that we stay, it’s hard to say that this complex represents anything other than great value for money.
If you’re splitting the bill between 6 people, it’s $50 USD each a night for a 5-star private villa luxury. Try getting that anywhere else on Earth.
Food And Beverage Execution

The in-room breakfast is OK and tasty enough. It’s pretty standard hotel fare, but that’s alright, we weren’t expecting anything else.
While there is a private chef on hand, if you want other meals, it will cost extra and given that this area is rich with awesome warungs, cafes, restaurants, beach clubs, etc. We didn’t see any need for that.
Location & Immediate Surroundings

Canggu is Bali’s most popular beach town, and that’s because it has so much to see and do. It’s also super safe.
If you want nightlife, dining options, shopping, surfing, and more, you’ll find it in Canggu.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise

All the facilities and amenities are as advertised, and we thought they were all of a very good standard; there’s just not very many of them.
We’re OK with that, we understand the restrictions when it comes to a single villa property, but if you need in resort entertainment, you may want to go elsewhere.
Overall “Personality”

It’s a very nice villa, and we really enjoyed staying there, but at the same time, we don’t feel that it’s a particularly memorable place for the future, either.
You use it as a place to enjoy the company of friends and family, as opposed to being the star of the show in its own right.
Summary: Our Overview Of Arkana Village Canggu By Nagisa Bali

Arkana Village Canggu is something of a rarity nowadays, a large, spacious villa for a reasonable nightly rate in Canggu.
Of course, if you don’t have a party of 6 people (or at least 4), you can get better value elsewhere, but if you do, then this is a great choice for your vacation.
Our only real complaint is that it’s a bit short on facilities, but then, it’s a single villa; it seems unlikely that they’d put in a huge amount of additional amenities.
Grading: Very Good/Happy to Return
Other places worth considering in Canggu include COMO Uma Canggu and Blossom Canggu.

Final Thoughts On Arkana Village Canggu By Nagisa Bali
If you’re looking for a decent-sized villa in Canggu without breaking the bank, then Arkana Village Canggu is an excellent choice.
Sure, it’s not heavy on additional amenities, but given that this is the most interesting part of Bali with the most to do outside of your hotel, it shouldn’t matter that much.
