So, it’s a good location if you can’t afford to risk missing your flight and prefer an easy, short walk in the morning to a hectic cross-island taxi journey.
We should give a special mention to the comfortable seating in the lounge here; it’s a good place to meet some fellow travellers.

We’re big fans of the Swiss-Belhotel group here in Bali; they deliver friendly service and a nice hotel within a stone’s throw of the airport.
Now, we wouldn’t stay for more than one night, but it’s a fabulous spot for an overnight stay before you get up early in the morning for your flight.
The breakfast is very good, and the free Wi-Fi comes in handy when you want to let the folks back home know you’re on your way.
There are more facilities here than the lounges offer, and they do so at a cheaper price.

No, this is not a double entry for Holiday Inn with the same resort; this is the non-“express” Baruna Bali Resort by Holiday Inn in the same area.
That means it’s a bit less business-focused and a lot more family-focused. If you want a kids’ club and a big swimming pool with a pool bar, this popular hotel is a great choice.
It’s in a strategic location, just on the beach, but also just a few minutes’ drive from the airport at Ngurah Rai International.
In our recent review, our team found this to be a very good hotel and better than many other nearby hotels.

Sekeca Co-Living has only recently opened, and business travelers on a budget are going to love that this city centre spot offers free WiFi and coworking spaces.
It’s certainly cheaper and better than working in the airport lounges, and it’s just a short drive from Denpasar Airport when you’re ready to fly.
We found it to be an entirely hassle-free experience to stay here, and it was really good value for money. It’s not the most memorable stay, but at the average price of a room here, who cares?

Are There Hotels Inside Bali Airport?
No, there are no hotels inside Bali Airport itself, though there are hotels directly opposite the terminal buildings.
This is because Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali or Denpasar Airport is closed after midnight until it reopens for early morning flights. That means if you could stay in the terminal, you would effectively be locked in for hours, and this would cause issues in an emergency situation.
You can walk directly into the airport from the hotels opposite, though, so it’s no hardship not being able to stay in the terminal itself.
Where Do Most Aussies Stay In Bali?
Aussies tend to prefer the Southern Beach Towns of Bali, such as Canggu, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak, Legian and Uluwatu, though the central Balinese town of Ubud is also winning over large numbers of Aussies, now.
Given that Australians make up the largest percentage of tourism visitors to Bali, you can find Aussies pretty much anywhere on the island.

Domestic users have the Concordia Lounge, the Garuda Indonesia Business Lounge and the Blue Sky Priority Pass Lounge.
Our team feels that the Garuda Indonesia Business Lounge is the best airport lounge in Bali. However, it’s still pretty small, and the Wi-Fi is fairly patchy.
On the international side of things, there are the Garuda Indonesia International Executive Lounge and the Premier Lounge. We prefer the Premier Lounge on this side, as it has the best alcoholic options and a much better bathroom.
Which Hotel Did The Kardashians Stay In Bali?
