Cleanliness and Maintenance
We felt that this resort was spotless and perfectly maintained. Mind you, given the price of a room, we should hope so, really.
This is one of the very few hotel properties in Bali with a perfect Google review score, and we can see why when they pay this much attention to detail.
Sleep Quality
The rooms are superbly appointed with excellent airflow and soundproofing and lightproofing, and we think you’d have to be trying hard not to have an excellent night’s sleep.
The location is also conducive to a good night’s sleep, and it doesn’t hurt that there are no children running around making noise, either.
Staff Attitude And Service Culture
This hotel may have a certain haughty attitude in its styling, but that’s not present in the staff, who are supremely helpful and kind.
They’ve also been empowered to resolve issues rather than pass them around the place, and that’s always good for customer experience.
Check-in/Check-out Experience
You will arrive and swiftly be escorted to your rooms. There’s no doubt that, as a small boutique resort, check-in is easy and straightforward.
The same is true when you need to leave, and one of the joys of staying in Canggu is that finding transport when you need it is easy too.
Bathroom Quality & Functionality
The bathrooms here are excellent, and you feel genuinely pampered when you use the facilities. The supplied toiletries were excellent, and the towels were truly next level.
We’d go back here just to use the bathrooms again; we liked them that much.
Value For Money
We argued as a team about this for a while we think that this walks the fine line between very good and excellent, and it could go either way when it comes to value for money.
What we were all certain of was that you won’t regret spending your money on a place here for a few nights.
Food And Beverage Execution
The on-site cafe is excellent to the point of being on the brink of fine dining, in fact, but we couldn’t help but wish they had more than one facility.
This is a place we could easily stay for a week or more if it had more dining options, as is, we’d certainly return for the food even if we didn’t stay in the hotel.
Location & Immediate Surroundings
You’re in Canggu, it’s Bali’s most popular beach town for a lot of reasons, and all of them good. The place is safe, and this location is quiet and peaceful.
You’re close to the best nightlife, restaurants, shopping, bars, beach clubs, surfing and more on the island, too; you can’t go wrong.
Facilities & Amenities Vs Promise
This is quite an expensive hotel and while the facilities here are as promised and of a very high standard, we’d still like more of them.
Overall “Personality”
There’s no doubt in any of our minds that this is the kind of holiday stay that you remember for all of your life.
It’s a fabulous place with a really unique identity and we’d love to experience it again, one day.
